The Righetti family was one of many Swiss-Italian families that migrated to the area and purchased small parcels of land to establish dairy farms. In the 1960’s, due to changing dairy regulations, the dairy herd was sold and replaced with beef cattle. Today Righetti family members still own, and live on, a portion of the original farm.
